SYNOPSIS

Still split up after the X-Files were shut down, Mulder travels without Scully to New Jersey where he encounters a creature which appears to be made of sewerage and receives some strange phone calls from a new informant ... X. Scully does anautopsy on victims of this creature, and finds one common element ... a flukeworm inside each host. Now it's up to Mulder to track down this "Flukeman" before he takes another life.

MY THOUGHTS

A simple, basic - terrifying - episode. Very self-contained an entertaining, with the most chilling moment being the part where the Flukeman comes back to life. A traditional monster story but, as Chris Carter says, "We don't do traditional monster stories." Spooky, Chris. I thought they should have named the episode "Fluke Man" it sounds better and i just like it. I really do like tis episode.
