SYNOPSIS

Mulder relives his boyhood dreams of becoming an astronaut as he and Scully interview and investigate Colonel Marcus Aurealis Belt, an astronaut who reportedly had a close encounter of the third kind while in space. Apparently, while he was in space, he was confronted by the ghost of an extraterrestrial. Now, it seems, his encounter has come back to haunt him. He is apperantly trying to stop a mission to space for some reason. After one of the men on the current mission reports seeing a ghosht in space Colonel Bely runs to his office and has a heart attack,but not before Mulder can get the info about how to get the men back to earth. With the information Mulder gets the crew lands saftly on earth. Everything appears to be good untill The Colonel try to go bungee jumping out his window with out the bungee!!!

MY THOUGHTS

What a stupid episode I could feel my IQ dropping with every second of this episode. The only redeaming quality of this episode was the cool effects (like when the face came out of the fog and caused the accident)The writers could have thrown in some kind of decent story to go along with it however.
