Hey yah everybody!

Well to start things of I wanted to first of all I wanted to say, to everyone I'm trading with, I'm actually almost done with most of your tapes so don't panic and look for them in the mail! Okie, now about Spawn. Well even tho I am a HUGE comic book fan, I've never read any Spawn comics, and I also haven't seen the movie. But I love this song sooo much! So far I have no personal associations with it or anything, but it's sure as well good to listen to when you get really angry.. At least it is for me.. all I can really understand from this song is a lot of rage, anger.. and all that kinda stuff. But I truely adore this song, and I think it would be cool if silverchair tried doing a bit more songs like that.. even the non tecno version kicks major ass! It's just so heavy.. and awesome!!

And stuff that annoys me about silverchair.. k here goes(and this is totally ment in good fun, I don't actually hate them or anything.. hell no i don't *heh* and if you know me outside of this list you'll understand that i'm just kinda like this.. i'm really weird.. heh):

Daniel- how when he answers questions on inteviews he is so incredibly vague.. (eg in answer to what the door is about "it's about..a door" in answer to learn to hate "it's about leaning to hate you know take the time to learn to hate.. come and join the mass debate") that really gets to me, and how he always has to wear all those layers of clothes and stuff even when it's so hot out. and he's stupuid pout he's been showing off lately! but other then that i think he's a great guy ;)

Um.. with Chris and Ben.. there isn't really anything major that annoys me about them.. i mean there are little things and stuff but i'll just leave it at bothering Daniel right now *heh*

Lets see, alright, I was wondering what do you guys think, are we in America ever going to see The Door video when it comes out, or will it just never been shown to us like the Cemetery video was/is??

Subject: my thoughts and stuff (hey, you asked for 'em!)

Okie dokie... let's see here... I've only heard 1/2 the spawn song, then my friend dragged me outta hot topic (the only place that I've seen it on public listening station thingies so far) but what I heard was okay, I guess, but I hope that's not gonna be their 'new sound' which I'm sure it won't. It was okay, about a B or so, IMO. What else here?... Um, the thing(s) that bug me about sc... Daniel bugs me how he swears constantley. It kinda gets annoying. At 1st it's funny... really funny, but after a while it's repeditive and loses it's *sparkle* And yeah, when I read reviews and notice that he says the same stuff to the crowds gig after gig for a couple shows. That just is lazy, and uncreative (oh, look who's talking, self!!) Um... Chris doesn't really bug me in any way... I guess how he never talks is sorta a bummer.. I often think what he's thinking!! Oh, and Ben, he's cool, I guess.... (heaps cooler than me, that's for sure!!!... actually, they all are heaps cooler than me!) Nothing really bothers me about him, although I really do think he looks like molly shannon off saturday night live.... especially when his mouth is open. (Yeah, I'm strange... I think I'm the only one that think's he does, but oh well...) Oh, and the one thing that bugs me about sc is that they're goin' to US cities three or four times now, and they've only toured to, I think possibly 5 Canadian ones, and 2 of them were once, Vancouver I think twice or 3 times, and Toronto prolly around there, 5 maybe? Anyways, the closest city to me is Winnipeg, and they've never been here, even though there is lots of sc fans here.... that really makes me mad. Oh well... enough complaining from me!! This entire post sounds like I'm mad, but I'm really not!! I'd better leave it at this....

PS: I just taped the MM "new music" which has interviews with chemical brothers, reef, radio head, jewel, beck, supergrass, tragically hip, and sc, among others. Just little skads of 'em... prolly abnout 1 minute of sc content... it's a kinda festival wrap up thingy, covering the "You rock Knees", "Lilith Fair" "Another Roadside Attraction" and other festivals. If anyone wants a copy, e-mail me. It's an hour long in total... I dunno all the stuff that's on it yet cuz I haven't finished watchin' it yet!! Well, gotta go. Cyas!

I really feel funny about posting, but since poor Heidi doesn't have enough, I'll try =)  On the subject of Spawn, I love this song!  Trying to decipher the words is interesting too, especially since they don't really seem to go together (whose fashion?, and what the hell in hypocritical vision?)  Anyway, new topic.  The things that annoy me:  1. When Daniel keeps figeting and picking at his face, STOP!  2. When during an interview one of them kind of wanders off when answering a question and they go "yeah" and don't answer the rest of it.  3. When Ben or Daniel pick on Chris, why doesn't he give it back to them?  Oh, well, everyone has some annoying quirks.  I'd give a review of "Rockstock"  but since a couple has already been typed, I won't bore you with mine.  If anyone wants to trade, please mail me with your list!

Hello! I've been on the list for about a week and since Heidi needed posts, I thoguht I'd introduce myself.  But it's nothing exciting!  ;)  My name is Alicia, I'm 18 and I live in Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada.  It's a pretty boring city. Any other Canadian "freaks" on the list??  Other than silverchair, I love Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Live, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Marilyn Manson and lots more.  I don't know if any of you have heard of these bands (they're Canadian and they're awesome) Moist, Glueleg, I Mother Earth and Our Lady Peace.  My fav silverchair song is Suicicidal Dream
I can really relate to it, especially when I'm depressed, but it's an overall awesome song!  I haven't seen silverchair yet, but I can't wait till I do!  That's about it I guess, so see ya later!

Subject: i am seeing foo fighters at the same place i saw silverchair, and on the exact same day as my b-day!!!!!

yikes! that was long subject! anyways, that is true, and i am so happy about it!!! but on to more silverchair related things..... SPAWN RULES!! i read somewhere someone's thoughts about what spawn was about, and i got kinda freaked, beucz they thought the song talked about how daniel is admitting to being a hypocrite becua he does drugs and all his lyrics are anti-drugs, but then i thought, why the hell do i care?!? i decided i didn't care, becua it's up to him, and if he wants to do drugs, then all the power to him! not that i support drugs........... but it's his life.

what annoys me about daniel: he always brushes his hair like he was going to put it behind his ear, you know, to get it out of his face, but then he just pushes it back ad it falls right back onto his face!! it annoys me a LOT.

you know what? i couldn't think of anything else! and usually i pick out every little annoying detail about anyone!

back to foo fighters: ok, don't read this if ya don't wanna, but i have to tell someone how excited i am!!! a lot!!! and it's gonna be with two of my favourite bands ever!! rusty and treble charger!!! (although you may not have heard of them unless you are canadian) and it's at the exact same place at which i saw silverchair for the very first time, so it's gonna bring back memories. oh god, i can just see myself there now, the moment dave, taylor, nate, and whom ever they get for a guitarist hit the stage, and i scream "silverchair!!!!!!" oh god, i'd better get my friends to hold my mouth shut!!
