Alexis sat on the hard, uncomfortable hospital chairs. Isaac sat next to her.
Alexis was just in dreamland. Sh was thinking about the time when she was moving to Oklahoma. She remembered the plane ride when she met two girls that liked the Hanson brothers....
"Oh my God!" Alexis sat straight up.
"What's wrong?" Isaac asked nervously.
"Chrissy Novel...Chrissy! I met her on the plane when I was thrteen and coming to Oklahoma!"
Isaac's eyes were wide. "You mean the Chrissy that was doing drugs with Tay and Zac?"
Alexis nodded. "I can't believe it! She had a big crush on you guys, and we traded phone numbers and addresses. We never contacted each other, though. I totally forgot about her. And I just remembered. I can't believe I didn't put two and two together."
"Lex, it's not your fault. She was just messed up." Isaac siad, wrapping his arms comfortingly around her.
A doctor walked into the room. "You can visit Zac now." he told them.
Alexis and Isaac jumped up and followed the doctor. They went into Zac's hospital room. He was hooked up to a few machines.
Alexis brushed the little bit of hair that he had back away from his face. His eyes opened, and he stretched his mouth into a tiny yawn.
He was so cute, Alexis couldn't believe thia was actually her son.
Isaac held his hand. He turned to the doctor, who stood behine them. "When can we take him home?" he asked.
"Probably in three days."
Alexis's eyes lit up. She thought it might be a week or two, but three days!
"Great!" she cried. She wanted so badly to pick up her son, but she knew she couldn't.
The doctor left the room, and Alexis kept staring at Zac. After twent minutes, an nurse came in to inform them that visiting hours were over.
Isaac and Alexis kissed Zac and reluctantly left the room.
They decided to go back to their house and wait to hear news about Jessica.
"I hope she's okay." Isaac said softly as they walked through the parking lot to the car.
"I hope so too. But, I'm sure she is." Alexis told him.
When they got to the house, they flipped on the tv and watched some old movies, like Titanic and Independence Day.
Isaac was cracking up at the part in ID4 where Will Smith is kicking around the alien and dragging it through the desert.
"I haven't seen this in years." he said.
"I know. I was what, twelve, when this came out?"
Alexis thought about it. "Yeah, twelve."
During Titanic, Alexis's eyes remained glued to the screen. She couldn't help it. She had always liked Leonardo DiCaprio. Recently, he had made a movie called 'Living Lies'. It was a big hit. But Leo was getting old. He was in his mid-thirties.
Isaac watched Alexis stare at Leo. He didn't mind. He had Kate Winslet(or whatever her name is). At about two o'clock a.m., they decided it was getting a bit late, so they went to bed. As they got under the covers, Isaac spoke to Alexis.
"I love you so much."
Alexis smiled. "I love you too."
