"Hey guys" Jessica said, a little timidly. In the past two days she had stayed with Heather and Mark, she had grown quiet. She felt nervous and uncomfortable. Heather had frequently asked if she was doing alright, but Jessica had just said she was fine.
"Jessie!" a woman cried. Jessica turned around, getting a look at her mother for the first time in months. "MOM!"
Mrs. Hanson dropped her carry-on and ran to her eldest daughter. Jessica threw her arms around her mom, tears streaming down her face. "Jessie, I've missed you so much" Mrs. Hanson cried, tears streaming down her face also.
Suddenly bright flashes of light were all around the mother and daughter. Some how, word had gotten to the press that Jessica had been found and when she would be meeting her parents. And they figured that if the whole family was there, so would Isaac and taylor, completing the group.
Jessica looked around at the reporters that were shoving cameras in her face.
"Jessica Hanson, what caused you to run away from home?" an annoying female reporter asked.
Jessica smiled sweetly. "Have you ever seen Scream?" she asked.
The reporter looked confused. "Um, well, yes..."
"Did you see the part where Neve Campbell punched Courtney Cox?" Jessica asked, emphisizing the word 'punch'.
The reporters started to back away, but just a little. Mr. Hanson, carrying his youngest daughter and having the other young Hansons at his heels, pushed through the crowd.
"Jess!" he cried. He tried to hug her but it was difficult because of the little girl in his arms.
***AUTHOR'S NOTE-I said the youngest daughter was Melissa because at the time, Zoe was not born yet. From now on, it'll be Zoe, if I haven't already mentioned this.***
Mr. Hanson set Zoe down and had Avery hold her hand.
He turned to Jessica and hugged her. Mackie pushed through and hung on her leg a little. "Jess, why'd you leave? It was so boring without you?"
Jessica felt even more tears come to her eyes. She felt so bad for putting her family through all the pain. "I'm so sorry everyone."
Cameras started to really flash, and then there were gasps as Taylor and Isaac pushed through the crowd with Raychel and Alexis.
Soon the whole Hanson clan was together, including Alexis, Heather, Raychel, and Mark.
Mrs. Hanson started tugging at everyone, trying to leave the airport and go in private to talk.
The group of 12 people(**yes, I counted!**) hurried out to Mark and Heather's car and the rental van they had pre-arranged to be there.
Somehow, they all fit, and made it to Mark and Heather's house in one piece. They decided to sit down and have a long talk.
"Hey, we forgot the luggage." Jessica cried, looking around.
Alexis shook her head. "It was arranged that someone would bring it for us."
"Sure, just give out my address to people." Heather teased her sister. Alexis lightly punched her sister on the arm.
"Grow up, Lex." Heather said, shaking her head.
Then started the lecture to Jessica. About an hour and a half into it, the younger kids got bored, so they went into another room to play. It was Avery, Mackie, and Zoe. Taylor was bored so he and Raychel went with them.
A little later, Heather, Alexis, Mark, and Isaac were practically falling asleep, so they decided to join the yoinger kids.
Finally, Jessica was allowed to get up. But....she was MAJORLY grounded. Mo sterio, phone, for a month, and no computer ever unless there was an adult in the room.
Jessica understood the punishment and felt it was fair. Although she expected a little more than that, she didn't feel the need to point this out.
**SORRY SO SHORT**
