TAZ TELLS IT LIKE IT IS !
Hello BMX riders , racers , or whatever !
My name is Jeff Tazbier or TAZ for short .I am a multi - time state champion and winner of many
BMX Nationals . I live and race locally in Northern Illinois.( about 60 miles NW of Chicago ) Our
area has many great riding places .The Pines , Pits , Jacks Trails , I live by the Famous Pits . They
are somewhat tight , large , smooth and all about rhythm. I have been building there for around 5 years .
I receive very little help ! , Iam always fixing wrecked jumps and picking up other peoples garbage . ////
In my years of of riding I have seen many different kinds of riders . All of them can be /////////
classified into certain groups . First you have your local scrubs . Local scrubs are kids who case jumps,
wreak berms , skid everywhere and leave garbage everywhere they have been . Scrubs always have something
to do when in comes time to fix jumps and pick up garbage or the building of new ones .The funny thing is ,
that after spending the whole day working on the trails by your self ! , the Scrubs have all the time in
world to ride the the trails that you worked on all day !.
Translation : SCRUB = Lazy BMXER
With how bad the Local Scrubs sound ! you would think they are my worst enemy . In fact there is
something worst .
The ULTRA SCRUB ! .
The Ultra Scrub also leaves his garbage around for others to pick up and skid everywhere .They are
" ULTRA " because they take large doubles with big pits between them and turn them into Giant
Rollers.They use shovels , sticks , rocks , or even their feet to destroy AWESOME jump sections
because they are Skillfully Impaired and afraid to jump .
Translation : ULTRA SCRUB = NO SKILL
Finally we have the WANT TO BE PRO !
The want to be Pro somtimes has skill . They are not exactly Pro's ! , what I mean is they have BIG
EGOS and have huge ATTITUDES . They think the are the best riders in the World .They
refer to all trails as being " weak " or "small " . They never help build new jumps and don't pick up after
themselves . If they are so GOOD ! , maybe the should build their own trails and stop trashing mine ! .
Translation : WANT TO BE PRO = JERK with ATTITUDE !.
