Poetry of Love

Too Young

He wanted more when I wasn't ready,
He wanted fun, I wanted a steady.
I decided I was ready to do it just once,
Since we'd been together for several months.
It happened to me the day I decided to be wild,
I ended up with my own child.
He's going to miss his child's life,
Because he wasn't ready for a child and a wife.
He left us, thinking he was missing out on all the fun,
He thought he was too young to have a son.
But did he ever think about me,
Being 18 and having a child of three.
Being a child and having your own,
Leaves you with no one, all alone.
If you don't want to turn out like me,
Just remember to stay sex free.
