My dog (usually referred to as 'Ginger Puppy' by us kids) really had to put up with a lot crap. I always was thinking of what I would dress her up in next. The only thing she hated worse than posing for pictures was taking a bath. In both cases, she usually got treated to a large helping of "people food" afterward.

Drinkin' Ginge Ginger, we found, liked to drink (flat) beer. Sometimes she would actually pester us for some. Once at a party, someone also gave her whiskey.

I can't remember what the Ginge was lookin' at — might've been a squirrel On the other hand, she may have just wanted to "Go Outside!" Ginger knew most all the neighbors and used to hit them up for treats. This — Ginger in the Plain — is one of my favorite pictures of her.
