From Calcutta to Karachi: My father's photographs
Some years ago, while rummaging through my house in Karachi, I came across of shoebox of negatives of photographs taken by my father. Looking back, I still recall his reliable Rolleicord, tripod and lightmeter which would emerge on certain occasions. Upon printing some of these negatives, I got a glimpse of the past, a world that had been all but forgotten. I am putting a selection of these photos here since they are the most wonderful pieces of the past I have ever seen.
