~You & I - Part 1~

“Mornin’.” Micky yawned drawing Emily closer in his arms.

“Hi.” She playfully nuzzled his neck.

“Well, it’s the morning after.” He stroked her bare arm. “Any regrets?”

“No.” She looked up at him. “You?”

He leaned forward and softly brushed his lips against hers. “No.”

“In that case, I’ll make you breakfast.” She smiled and started to get out of bed.

Micky grabbed her around the waist bringing her back into his arms. “I’m hungry.” He kissed her throat. “But not for food.”

She softly moaned, melting beneath him.

Emily put a pan of lasagna in the oven later that day. She and Micky had spent the day together getting to know each other better, without the computer between them. They decided to take a walk and work up a good appetite, ending up at a park about two blocks from Emily's apartment. Suddenly both of them turned into five-year-olds, running around and playing. They raced down the slide, Micky pushed her on the swings and then really impressed her by hanging upside down on the monkey bars. They walked back to her apartment and gorged themselves on lasagna and garlic bread.

"Em, that was the best food I've had in a long time." Micky sat back in his chair and patted his stomach.

She laughed, clearing the table. "You know what they say, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach."

He stood up and grabbed her around the waist, almost making her drop the dishes in her hands. "Mmm, you've already got my heart." He whispered softly in her ear.

"I'm going to do the dishes." She blushed.

"Let me help." He followed her into the kitchen.

"You mean, you're incredibly sexy, intelligent, talented and you do dishes?" She teased.

Now it was his turn to blush. "Well, you've never done dishes the Dolenz way." He grinned.

"No, can't say that I have." Emily laughed. "What does this involve?"

Micky walked over to the sink and began filling it with hot soapy water. "Come here." He started setting the dishes in the water and she walked over. He positioned her in front of the sink and stood closely behind her. Reaching his arms around her, he took her hands and put them in the water. They picked up a plate and started washing it together.

Emily could feel his breath on her neck and almost dropped the plate. "How am I supposed to concentrate with you breathing on my neck?" She giggled.

"Oh, you mean like this?" He feathered kisses down the nape of her neck and then blew softly in her ear.

"That's exactly what I mean." She moaned.

"I'm not sure." He chuckled.

"In that case, let's see if I can break your concentration." She gave an evil laugh taking her hands out of the water. She reached behind and ran her wet hands up and down his thighs and then softly stroked her hand over his hardening bulge.

Micky did drop a plate back in the sink, grabbed her and spun her around. He cupped his hands around her face and crushed his lips down upon hers. He tangled his wet fingers in her hair and she wrapped her arms around him pulling him closer. He let his lips leave hers only long enough to say, "The dishes can wait."

Emily woke up around three in the morning and quietly got out of bed. She slipped into her bathrobe, wrapping it tightly around herself and went outside on the back porch. Her head was still swimming but part of her was sad. It wasn't long before Micky found her. "Emmie?" He came outside and sat down on the step next to her. "I woke up and you were gone."

"Sorry." She said softly looking over at him.

"What's wrong?" He asked putting his arm around her shoulders.

"You're leaving in the morning." She replied sadly.

"Just because I have to leave, that doesn't mean you're getting rid of me that easily." He smiled.

"Michael, you have a completely crazy life and I just can't expect to be a part of it."

He pulled her closer and she put her head on his shoulder. "Emily, I love you and no amount of distance or schedule is going to keep me from you."

"But…" She started and he put his fingers to her lips. "Michael…"

"I can see there's only one way to shut you up." He laughed pulling her into a lingering passionate kiss.

----------------------------------------

The next morning, Emily got up early, showered and went into her office. She had decided to submerge herself in her work in hopes that it would make Micky’s leaving a little easier to bear.

Micky came into the office and pulled up a chair sitting down next to her. He kissed her good morning and then asked, "Can you work anywhere?"

"What do you mean?" She asked giving him a funny look.

"If you had to go on a trip, could you take your work with you?"

"Sure, all I need is my laptop and a phone line."

"Good." He smiled broadly. "Come home with me."

"What?" She laughed. "Are you completely insane?"

"Yes." He laughed. "Really, I'm serious. I'm spending the next three weeks at home before I start working on my next project. I want you to come home with me."

"Mick, I don't know." She sighed. “Are you sure?”

“Yes.” He cupped her face. “What do you say?”

Emily hesitated for a minute then looked over at him. "Yes."

He kissed her long and deep. "Well, let's go. You have to pack and I have to pack." He was as excited as a little kid.

"Okay, okay!" She laughed throwing her arms around him.
