Character Upgrade:
When your player reaches level 10, you can choose a more powerful
version of the character. To do it, all you have to do is hold down the
turbo button when you are selecting your charecter, hold down turbo (Z).
Below are a list of the normal characters and beside them the characters
special character.

Familiar Upgrade:
Once you reach level 50, the familiar that has been following you since
lv. 25 will improve. The "fireball" that it fires will do a little more
damage than it use to. You will know it has improved since it will have
changed colors.
Get a Permanent halo:
Get all the rune stones and then beat scorn. then you get It pememalty
Play as Minotaur:
In the forth mountain level, find every switch and the go to the area
with the exit. Instead of going through the exit stand on the door with
the skull on it. Inside the bonus round collect 50 coins. When time runs
out you can now play as the Minotaur.
Play as Summoner:
Get all of the shards and beat the 1st Scorn. Let the doors open and go
to the first area. When you get to the exit go to the left and follow
the wall. You will find the gate. Get 50 Summoner coins in the area. It
will be hard to see,because you only have a small light radius, just
follow the path.
Play as The Falcontress:
To get the secret character "The Falcontress", which has the same turbo
attacks as the valkyrie, go to the Bonus Stage in the Castle World. Get
50 of the coins there and then you can select "The Falcontress" from the
character select screen.
Play as The Jackal:
Play through the second level of the ice world. At the end, on top of
the pile of crates, there is a trapdoor at a dead end. The trapdoor is
found by climbing the slanted crates to the top, then circle around
until you get a chance to go back down. From there, climb the other set
of slanted crates, located before the exit, and standing atop the
traapdoor. Inside the door, collect 50 tokens to unlock "The Jackal", a
more powerful form of the wizard.
Play as The Tauros:
To get the secret character "The Tauros", go to the bonus stage in the
first world (Warriors Mountain)and get 50 of the tokens. To use "The
Tauros" go to character screen and scroll down until you see it.
Play as Tigress:
To get the Tigress character, which is an animal archer, goto the
Treasury in the Castle and finish it until about the end. The trap door
is in a corner up a few stairs. Once in, collect 50 coins. If time runs out, return and finish up.
Skipping Past a Gate with No Key:
In the Castle Treasury level, go to the area where there is a door that
requires pressing a switch, the dorr leads to the Ice Axe area. Go to
the ramp to the right of it then quickly press the switch jump on the
platform then keep running against the wall facing the Ice Axe room as it raises.
Turn Death Character into Food:
If you are approaching a barrel or a chest that you know has Death (the
character that sucks life from you), use a potion BEFORE you open it.
You know it worked if you hear Death scream. Now open the barrel or
chest and it will reveal a fruit inside (50 health).
Turn Poison Apples to Good Apples:
If you find one of those evil poison granny smith apples you can turn it
into a regular apple by using a potion. Just throw it down and make sure
it's within the blast radius. This is good if you need the health and
have an extra potion or two.
Weapon Upgrade:
Upgrade your character to level 10 and your character's weapon will grow
in size and do much more damage. This also works at levels 75 and 99.
