Troy - Walls of the Trojan Citadel
Because Dot had done wintertime reading on Schliemann and Troy,
she was fascinated by this site. The excavations are much less
complete than at some other ancient spots. Even so, it's a
thrill to walk beside the walls, and to think that Hector and
Achilles may have done battle on the very ground where you are
treading.
