Given an oppurtunity, young people will soar beyond adults wildest expectations.
I witnessed that truth this school year as just a handful of high school students faithfully put pen to paper and created the "Off the Wall" literary magazine.
Young people have much to say about the world we created for them. Right or wrong, good or bad, they will inherit our 'stuff.' It seems only fair they be given a voice to express their views on our 'gift.'
I am grateful for the opportunity I was given by them to be a small part of their literary work. They possess such talent and passion.
I salute them and will most certainly miss them next year.
But, I will continue to support their efforts by purchasing their literary magazine.
