Thanatos Gerroux
I believe that we should all know that there is a huge difference between school and the real world. I would like to provide some philosophy on these differences, and some the similarities as well.
Mathematics
Answers in the real world seldom come out as whole numbers.
The answers to all the odd questions are never in the back of the book.
You usually get one shot at an example. There are no review questions.
The tests are usually not over the material you have learned.
Calculators are not an option
There is no universal formula to apply to life. The moment you recognize a pattern that could be used to construct one, the pattern is broken.
There are seldom any right or wrong answers.
*. Don't fall behind – the threat of an upcoming test is always there.
Spanish
*. Perhaps it would be more profitable to find what Spanish and Life actually have in common. I can guarantee this will have fewer items.
English
The story of life has no good guys or bad guys. Good and evil do not exist, and the dominating divisions are usually between "them and us".
Foreshadowing exists only in legend. Most of what happens does so completely in a completely unexpected manner, and accurate warnings of the future are rare, if existing at all.
At the end, not all the people get out with their lives.
To us, the bad guys always win.
Science
Not everything can be categorized. We will usually find that facts are in such an illegible jumble that we can't make anything out.
Usually, the formula that we think is perfect will backfire drastically.
Some beings belong to more than one species
4. In the test of life, the majority of the test is over the notes that you do not possess.
History
Dates and places are seldom important over a long-term basis
*. Always remember – What seems to be the present today will be history tomorrow.
Athletics
1. Teamwork may be important, but it is not the type of teamwork presented here. Most of teamwork is taking something huge, subdividing it, and delegating different pieces to different people.
