Ruby Tuesday
The world has gone to the dogs
But still we believe
Why is it this God this
Thing does deceive
We are taught to love him
Sing his praise
Then he will take us at the
End of our days
But why is he to chose what
Way is for us
Why is it his decision our
Lives to just crush?
This is why I don’t believe
I pave my own path
I can live with out this
Mighty ones wrath
But those who are taught
To love turn on you
They think it’s up to them
It’s you they ridicule
They want you to be like them
To do as they say not as they do
Trying to save your soul
But only you can save you
They think if you don’t believe
In Him you believe in Satan
But they don’t listen that you
Worship nothing, they accuse you Pagan
Why won’t they listen, live
In the peace that they preach
Maybe if they live and let live
Then that higher level we can all reach
We can understand their reasoning
And let them be, but we are still the fools
We don’t want to battle over and
Over who makes the rules
I don’t believe so let me be
Don’t give me funny looks
Don’t make me out to be wrong
Unlike they believe, I am not a crook
I just believe what I believe
Can’t you just let me be
So we can live in harmony
And can all be free
