There isn't much to say about me. My life is a blur. A lot of things,
including my major are undecided now. Currently, I'm at COD and going back to Iowa State University in spring or I might just goto UIC to major in COMPUTER ENGINEERING and Electrical Engineering. Just yesterday, I was deciding whether or not I should major in Law. So if I were you, I'd just wait until June 2000 to find out what really happens.
Besides academics, I'm also involved in a lot of other things.
Las quarter, I was tutoring Calculus II at cod as my personal interest
or I call that a hobby. It is a lot more work than I thought it would be,
but honestly, I really enjoyed it. Not only the material was fun to teach,
but the student I have had were absolutely wonderful. They were smart,
ambitious, eager to learn, and has a great sense of humor. I guess
I just got lucky. Besides teaching, I was working for
Accademic Computer Lab.
Recently, I've been doing a lot of thought as to what's important to me.
Being 19 isn't easy. It's the age where you're no longer a teenager,
but at the same time, you're not an adult. It's a reality check:
"Hello, you're going to be 21 soon." I'm not terribly worried about
growing older, as long as I remember the words of Le Petit Prince
(The Little Prince).
As for my future, a few of my friends and I are thinking of starting
our own business. The idea sounds intriguing, but it's difficult to
start something and at the same time be involved at University. So,
I guess I'll have to put that aspiration on hold.
Besides my own future, sometimes I just sit back and think about the
future of Toronto. I visited Canada during the hand-over period in
June-July '96. If you've never been to Canada, then that's one place
I highly recommend you visit. Watching Toronto through the eyes of
CNN is nothing like the real thing.
Besides thinking and planning, I love to travel.
Ever since I was young, my family and I have been traveling.
I've lived in three different countries and been to over many different
states.
I also like to read (yes, I read), listen to music, hike,
watch movies, etc. (surprised the words math and science didn't appear on that list as being engineering major?)
