dude~! there was a lot of dust flying around tonight. Palmdale dirt all over my
car, the interior in my eyes.. yikes.. trust me on this one.. never run Chevron
gas in your race car.. runs like carp. my other GsR friend hits 16.3's i/h/e
Chevron.. my gsr usually runs 15.9s with 76 considering i basically run exhaust
only.. i know he drives just as good as me with more mods.. hmm interesting..
too many people out tonite only got in 5 runs.

Notes: well i guess it doesn't help that when i try to launch at 5000 the r's drop to 3500.. my clutch is totalled.. but i've been running like this for awhile.. i know its the gas.. =P

Car #195 Best ET: 15.977 @86.706mph
aiiyaaah.. 9 Runs tonight.. i guess everyone thought it
was going to rain. well just like last time all she has is NGK spark plug wires,
modified stock airbox, Trust 2"+ b-piping and
a blown HKS Drager. backed up the 15.9 again tonight. i think it's the limit of
my teg with these modifications. keep in mind she's running 16" rims
w/street tires and full interior(spare tire and all). (the tower lane I3 and MPH
wasn't working today.) i got smoked by a turbo civic on Run#2 he did a 15.9.. i
could have kept up with him.

Notes: i didn't get any coaching from my bf tonight i had to guess what rpm to launch at. i knew that i had to hit it higher because there wasn't enough spin on the tires. and i started to semi-powershift to get better times. some of my buddies were doing 14.7's gosh i wish my teg was that fast.. =D

Wed 3/13/02 Palmdale Car
#206, track officials even gave me a nickname-> "Sweetheart"
the right lane's I4 wasn't working today. there
were waay too many cars there tonight. but i got in good runs. My second run we
were experimenting with tire psi which i wasn't used to. spun tire revs shot up
to 8 then as i hooked up the revs dropped to 6.7 and it redlined real quick.. i
should have paid more attention and feathered the accelerator. but i finally broke into the 15's in Palmdale. I'm really happy with my results so far. -GReddy
