Frank Van Zant is a teacher of near dropouts, a coach, and a father of three. He has been nominated twice for Pushcarts, and recent work is placed or published in Flying Horse, Poet Lore, and Poetry Nottingham International. Recent appearances in anthologies include A Prose Poem Primer and XY Files: Poems On The Male Experience; recent features include The Windless Orchard and New Works Review. His first book, The Lives of the Two-Headed Baseball Siren, will finally get off the bench and come out in time for spring training ‘99 from Kings Estate Press.
