Perie Longo has published two books of her poems: Milking the Earth (John Daniel, 1986) and The Privacy of Wind (John Daniel, 1997). Her work has appeared in The Prairie Schooner, Studia Mystica, California State Poetry Quarterly, Rattle, and Into the Teeth of the Wind, among others. In 2002, she was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She leads poetry workshops for the Santa Barbara Writers Conference, and her own Santa Barbara Summer Poetry Workshop in August.
