Jack Cooper studied psychology and English literature in Norway and attended graduate school in alpine botany at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is a 2004 recipient of a Bole'parn Writers prize. Journals publishing his work include Facets Magazine, Poetry Depth Quarterly, Phi Delta Kappan, Poetry Motel, The Broken Column, Pegasus Journal, Dana Literary Society, and Ibbetson Street.
