TEACHER SECTION
OBJECTIVES:
- STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO USE THE INTERNET
TO DISCOVER, ANALYZE, AND EVALUATE HISTORY.
- STUDENTS WILL CREATE A CHART THAT COMPARES
THE CAUSES OF WORLD WAR I AND WORLD WAR II.
- STUDENTS WILL ANALYZE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY
SOURCES.
- STUDENTS WILL CREATE A TIME LINE THAT COMPRISES
THE YEARS 1939-1945
- STUDENTS WILL WRITE AN ESSAY DESCRIBING THE
UNITED STATES AT HOME DURING WORLD WAR II; INCLUDING ASIANS, EUROPEAN IMMIGRANTS,
AFRICAN AMERICANS, AND THEIR PERSONAL ANCESTRY
This unit and the lessons are prepared to open ended. This will
allow students to have a direction, and then the students will make decisions
as to which specific event they wish to analyze. This follows the Glasser
philosophy. This meets all requirements for multi culturalism and promotes student learning and success.
I did not use the "Quiz Maker" because they did not meet student needs for this unit.
The assignments and final essay meet the required evaluations for this unit. Again, all work must be
submitted to the teacher through E-Mail.
