Jenn and I ate dinner quietly. Often, Tay and I would share smiles, while we played footsy under the table. I noticed Jen and Ike looking at eachother a lot, their eyes full of sweetness.
Zac scarfed down a burger, his fries, my fries, 2 cokes, and dessert. I looked at him and wrinkled my nose at all the food he was consuming. Well, I thought, that's what puberty'll do to ya.
Or maybe he was trying to keep busy, to avoid looking at us. Jen and Ike were eating with one hand, and holding hands with the other. Taylor saw this, and took my hand as well.
I leaned over and kissed him softly on the lips, just then, there was the flash of a camera, and Taylor angrily parted with me, and stormed off to tell the photographer to give us some privacy.
He came back, and I said, "Taylor, you didn't have to do that."
"Yes I did, " he said, "otherwise he'd keep doing that to us the whole night."
"Thank you," I said, and leaned over to reward him with another kiss. Then, Tay got up with Ike and Zac, saying that they had to go do a small concert for the fans outside. They both kissed us lightly, and we wished them luck.
But before they went, Jen grabbed Zac and hugged him, then gave him a kiss on his cheek, "For good luck Zaccy," she said. Isaac said uneasily, "Come on, Zac, let's go."
"Awww..." said Zac, "I bet you're jealous because she likes me better than you! I bet you haven't even kissed her yet! But I've kissed her! Hahaha."
Isaac shrugged, but winked at Jenn. She smiled. I laughed, then went with Jenn to the front of the audience to watch Hanson play.
All during 'I Will Come to You' Taylor looked straight at me, with such passion in his big pool-blue eyes, that I fell in love with him. But I couldn't be could I?
At one point near the end of 'Lucy' Zac blew a kiss to Jenn, and I laughed. Ike stared unblinkingly during 'Minute Without You' at Jenn, and she looked like she was going to cry. Just then, a group of girls harshly pulled the two of us over to the side.
No one noticed us in the crowd, except for Ike and Tay who had paniced, angry, and hurt expressions on their faces. They wanted to run and help us, but they couldn't...they were in the middle of 'Where's the Love.'
But as soon as the girls tried to hit us, and Jenn began to use her kickboxing skills, they abruptly stopped playing and ran over to our side. Ike and Tay ripped the girls away from us, and I fell into Taylor's arms.
The guards had been so busy keeping fans from bombarding the stage that they hadn't even noticed us until Tay and Ike ran off the stage. My head was throbbing, and I felt like I was going to pass out.
Jenn was nearly unconscious, since she had tried to kick a girl, but was pushed against the wall. As Ike cradled her in his arms, she managed to say, "You said this wouldn't happen Ike, you promised..." And she lay, completely knocked out in his arms.
