HALLOWEEN: THE NIGHT HE CAME HOME
This is the shooting script to the original HALLOWEEN film, written by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. This version includes scenes and dialogue that did not appear in the final cut of the film.
HALLOWEEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS
As far as I know, this is the last draft Farrands wrote before Rand Ravich was called in by the Miramax mafia do to rewrites. The script was originally titled HALLOWEEN 666: THE ORIGIN OF MICHAEL MYERS, but was changed to the more familiar title just prior to the film's release.
HALLOWEEN 7 TREATMENT
This is Kevin Williamson's treatment for what would eventually become H20. This was sold to Miramax in 1997 under the title HALLOWEEN 7: THE REVENGE OF LAURIE STRODE. This is very different from the eventual cut of the movie and contains characters, scenes and subplots baring no resemblence to the final film.
HALLOWEEN: H20
Robert Zappia's first draft. This is the original spec that was optioned by Moustapha Akkad before Matt Greenberg was brought in to do rewrites. Like Williamson's treatment, this offers a variety of different subplots and scenarios that did not surface in the film.
HALLOWEEN: H20 - SCRIPT EXCERPT
An excerpt from an early draft of H20 that explains the history of the Haddonfield murders -- something that was entirely left out of the film. Supposedly, this scene was shot but eventually cut from the final theatrical print so it wouldn't confuse new viewers to the series.
HALLOWEEN: THE HOMECOMING
Written by Larry Brand, this is an early draft of HALLOWEEN: RESURRECTION. It was originally titled HALLOWEEN: HOMECOMING. This draft was written solely by Brand -- before Sean Hood was brought in for rewrites -- and continues a slightly different opening sequence, an entirely different ending, and a subplot concerning a detective hot on the trail of Michael Myers.
HALLOWEEN: RESURRECTION - REVISION
This is a revised draft written by Larry Brand and Sean Hood. This version is relatively simular to the first draft of the script, though it does contain some additional scenes, including the "eye-popping" finale.
