Treatment

Theme:  That evil can invade innocence as well as any domain

that can sometimes be considered safe.



How to Accomplish That:  In this script, Freddy is the 

demon, playing Freddy who is out for revenge onto Wes Craven, the 

creator who thought that he could kill the demon through Wes 

Craven's New Nightmare.  However, it didn't work, and the Demon is 

back, to get revenge on Wes Craven, by going after his son.  

     David, the main character, is a huge horror fan, into it so far 

as to have dolls of horror movie villians (movie maniac dolls) such

as Freddy, Jason, Michael, and Norman Bates and he also has a Freddy

Krueger mask.  He is friends with Josh, and David had gone through 

great lengths for that friendship.  Josh is a minor character who 

is a fictitious son to Wes Craven.  David also isn't as rich as his 

friends, but David's family still likes to give the appearence of 

being rich.  Sure they are not poor, by most standards other than 

that of Hollywood high line.  Still David's friends know the truth, 

and occasionally they tease him with it.  Most of the time he takes 

it in stride.

     The turning point in this film from when Freddy is hunting the 

group of friends to when David starts to realize what he feels can

kill Freddy.  Something similar to what they tried in Three and Four,

and that they slightly hinted on in five, however this ending places

a new tint to the sword that kills him.  



Audience:  This movie is made for the audience of the many 

Freddy Krueger fans out there.  There is a large group that 

want to see Freddy come back in another film, as the Friday the 

13th series still continues as well as the Halloween movies.  

It is this large amount of people as well as those who love 

horror movies, would flock to see this movie.  As it takes the 

greatest elements out of all the previous movies, this movie is 

everything for the Freddy fan.
