New Nightmare 2
Scene 16

CUT

David is being brought into the holding area.  Around him are 
the low life's of Beverly Hills, the people that have been kept 
off of the streets.  The people that David and Josh never get 
to see.  David trys to pull away from the officer who is bringing 
down the hall when he sees the people that are around him.  The 
officer keeps David in front of him, and walks him down to a 
cell.  Josh is already in there.  Also in there are a couple of 
bums, and a washed out, dirty, raggety looking preacher.  
The preacher looks up at the sight of David coming in.

Preacher
Don't be putting these two
with me.  They've got a 
demon with them.  It's 
marked them.

David shoots Josh a look, and they both look the Preacher.

The Officer closes the door behind him, and it locks.

Officer
Well then preacher, try 
not to piss on yourself 
when thier demon comes 
after you.  You got that.

The Officer walks back down the hall on his way out of the holding 
area.

Josh is looking at the preacher.

Josh
What do you know about demons?

Preacher
I don't want none of it.
So don't be involving me.
You upset a demon, and
Hellfire is brought on you.

Josh
Come on, we need your help.

David
He doesn't know shit.  Do
you preacher.

Preacher
To David
I know that your not as dark
as you portray yourself.
To Josh
And if you don't get over 
being a child, you will never
be a man.

Josh
What in the hell is that 
supposed to mean.

Preacher
Don't go to sleep.

David stands by the bars of the cells, looking tired from all 
that has happend.  He is trying to keep himself awake.

The preacher is laying on one of the benches in the room, and 
stretches out comfortably, he has preached, and now, he is 
tired.  He starts to drift off to sleep.

CUT

The preacher awakens in his cell.  Unlike before in the cell, 
when there was a lot of noise from other prisoners, it is now 
deafly silent.  

The preacher looks around, as he slowly sits up from the bench.  

All the cells are empty.

The preacher stands and starts to walk to the cell door.  A 
sound of a dripping starts in the background. 

A shot through the bars as the preacher stands there with his 
hands on the bars.  The sound of the dripping gets worse, as 
it grows.  Starts to sound like more dripping.  Like there is 
about twenty drips into twenty different pools of blood.

Close up of a pool of blood.   More Blood is dripping down.  

Close up of the Preacher as he is near tears at the cell bars.  
He turns around, and instead of the empty cell that had been 
behind him, the cell is full of bodys handing from the ceiling, 
cut open down their mid section, their blood dripping down.  
When the preacher had turned around he had bumped into one of 
them.

Preacher
Yaah. yah yaaaahhhhh!

The preacher tries to pull himself back away from them, but 
they are so close to them, The preacher has blood starting to 
cover his clothes, as the is trying to get as close to the bars 
as he can.

Extreme Close up, His left wrist.  Blood starts to trickle 
out of it, as it is cut open.  His vien comes out like a rope, 
and ties his wrist to the bars.

Extreme Close up, his right wrist.  His wrist is cut open, and 
his vein comes out, and ties his other wrist to the bars.

The preacher is there, almost in a crucified position, and goes 
into a crucified position as his arms rise, making himself 
rise until the tips of his feet are dangling near the ground.

Close up The Preacher's face as he is in incredible pain.  

The bodies peal back out of the way as Freddy walks through 
them to stand in front of the preacher.  

Close up Freddy, his eyes are on fire, burning with hatred.

Freddy
URgh...ahahahaha.

CUT

The preacher is laying on the bench.  He starts to go into 
convulsions, and his wrists are cut open.  Blood starts to 
pool on the ground, and everyone is pulled back.  The bums are 
yelling for the guards while Josh and David are trying to stay 
in the corner away from the preacher.

3 Officers come running down the hall.  Two of them will 
their billy clubs in hand.  The third one is grabbing for the 
key to unlock the door.
