Update News

     A new feature to this site, about video games news, opinions, and stuff like that. A bit of an editorial vehicle for me. Hope you enjoy it!!

    Well, not video game news today, site news. I have finally gotten around to giving this site flair that has been sorely lacking. I'm also redoing many other things that are invisible to you, but will help me update and add new features in the future. So, why have I waited so long to upgrade this site? Time! Finals have ended, and I am (ahem) between jobs, so I can add some of the features I've been meaning to, without compromising anything. My idea is to give this site more of a video game feel.

    I must give much credit to my primary inspiration for this new design, TSR's NES Archive, DavesClassic's, Superfami.com, and Classicgaming.com. Each one has provided inspiration on several different levels. TSR adds a great personal touch to his site. Dave, of Dave's Classics, does such a great job of sorting through the relentless news on emulation, and provides unparalleled content. Chris Barker, of Superfami.com, does a superb job of providing gaming news from a unique perspective. I often visit Superfami.com, even though I've never bought any of his games. Hopefully I'll achieve that kind of result with you. Hang on, ClassicGaming.com, I almost forgot. Like Dave's Classics, this site provides a remarkable amount of news and info about the classic gaming scene. It's layout is fantastic, as well. Much credit as well, to Konami, whose excellent games, Gradius, Parodius, and TwinBee, I borrowed excessively from.

    Hopefully, I'll be able to put my own spin on the best features from these sites.  Enjoy the new site!!!
