Life is always an adventure for me! One day, I was playing outside of the cage. When Mom put me back in, I showed her my foot was sore and bent. She thought I dislocated my big toe! My foot was very hot, and although my big toe was bent in the middle, I could stand, perch, and walk on it. The Vet Lady's office was closed for the day, and the animal emergency said my bent toe wasn't an "emergency" because my foot wasn't bleeding and I wasn't in pain. So, we waited until the Vet Lady came back to work the next day.The Vet Lady took pictures of my feet and told Mom my toe was dislocated between the P2 and P3 toe bones. She didn't see any breaks and thought that a ligament had been stretched. You know what that Vet Lady did? She put a bandage on my foot! Well, it's more like a moon boot. . .

I did *not* like that boot, so I chewed and chewed it right off! She was a sneaky lady, though. She covered my foot in vet wrap and tape all the way up to my ankle. I picked at that bandage and shook my foot. (It drove Mom nuts.) Mom took me home and put me in a padded incubator to I wouldn't get my foot caught in the cage bars. Auntie Cee even sent me some goodies so I would get better soon.

After one week, the Vet Lady took my bandage off. My toe was still a little crooked. I have a big knot on that toe, but that's how things go sometimes. (The Vet Lady thinks the problems with my toes are genetic because one of my other toes got bent a few years ago and has a knot, too.) My big toe doesn't bother me at all now, and I'm so glad that bandage finally came off!
