*** Bala de Plata vs El Tackle.- El Tackle is a guy who is fat but not fat enough to play a fat guy gimmick, but plays it anyway, he's the tecnico, while Bala de Plata is the rudo, I don't think this Bala de Plata was the guy in the March21 card, so who knows who that guy was...1-- They work for a time, el Tackle not only lacks some pounds to play Porkyesque roles, but a lot of charisma as well, he does some armdrags and teases some fat topes, that's about it, he takes the fall via sunsetflip reversed by sitdown splash + 3 count. 2-- More or less the same with Tackle trying some armdrags and the rudo doing some slaps, at the end, Tackle goes for a vertical plancha from the apron to the floor, oddly enough, Bala de Plata returns to the ring before the 20 count and Tackle is counted out!! 3.- Bala de Plata starts brawling, gets some help from the referee (who even assist Bala to deliver a sunset flip for a 2 count), then, the tecnico reacts and starts punching the rudo so he can perform some 'falling tree' spots, later, Bala is dropkicked out of the ring, so el Tackle goes for the ttb and delivers another vertical splash, I think he didn't came close to hitting Bala de Plata at all. They return to the ring, where Plata is pinned with 'la casita'... quite a bad match... or maybe it was that I was hoping to be blown away by the minis from the previous show...
*** Mascara and Ultimo Revelde vs Disk Joker and Stuka Jr.- They announced this match as a 'Relevos Increibles' duel, with la Mascara (who uses no mask) and Stuka Jr teaming up against the other two, but all 4 guys refused, the announcer seemed willing to force them to have the 'Increibles' thing, but the rudos started brawling before anything could be done as 1.- the match opens with the brawl, as they beat the tecnicos pretty bad, mainly flinging them to the crowd and working on Disk (now I'll call him that whatever his name is) Joker's right leg, after some minutes of rudo recreation, they try double powerbombs which are countered into double faceslams, chaos breaks out as the rudos miss opposite cornerspears and go out of the ring, so the youngsters can perform double near cornerpost topes suicidas!! They battle a little before going back to the ring and having the tecnicos doing double huracanranas to score the fall!!2.- The tecnicos keep the momentum with them, Joker starts doing his flying headscissors, and this time the lights didn't go out, then Stuka jr does some acrobatic stuff (reminisent of Mr Niebla's, actually, his mask looks a little as Niebla's), but the rudos react, beat them again, Ultimo Revelde hits an inside the ring second rope moonsault twisted into diving senton splash to set Joker ready for the pin, as La Mascara uses a nudo to pin Stuka jr after a half powerbomb. 3.- They keep fighting it out, the tecnicos start getting an slight advantage as Stuka jr manages to deliver a frankensteiner on Ultimo Revelde, and then dropkick him out of the ring, he followed with a tope suicida!! La Mascara came next with another tope suicida, finally, Disk Joker went to the ttb to perform a moonsault twisted into a somersault bodyblock !!!!! Once they all got to the ring, the tecnicos tried (twice) to take the fall with double sunset flip pins... but both times the rudos managed to grab the referee's hands (he was using both of his palms to do the counts) to prevent the 3 count!! Then the rudos had the pin position, but that time, the tecnicos were the one preventing the 3 counts!! Another dual pin attempt from the rudos, the referee is upset so he goes for an ultrafast 3 count that defeats the tecnicos!!! Good match with lots of heat, I saw Ultimo Revelde closer this time, and he doesn't look old at all, I guess maybe he is the one from Prommo Azteca, although I don't remember seeing him unmasked so I'm not sure. The tecnicos are quite good workers, maybe they need to work their stuff out a little better to get it smoother, but at least, this time they didn't went to have too many spots with the referee and the match itself was different from the previous 2 shows (which had been very alike), if you've read the IWRG recap, then you should know I complained about Volador jr and Relampago beating the (more) experienced rudos without being better at all, here, with the tecnicos losing (and Disk Joker has lost the 3 times), the crowd likes them better, I think it's about time for Disk Joker to win a match...
*** Jerry Estrada vs Stuka.- 1.- Estrada jumped on Stuka as soon as the tecnico steped out from the locker rooms, lots of brawling, but Stuka came back and took the fall with a double armbar submission hold. 2.- Estrada bagan using half powerbombs on Stuka, who juiced early in the fall, the end was a shocker, as Jerry Estrada used a piledriver, not a tombstone, but a martinete none the less, the referee didn't DQ, Stuka sold the move and from there, worked as if he was dead... Of course, Jerry got the pin. 3.- More brawling and flinging to the chairs... with Stuka selling a neck injury, Jerry tried dropkicks on a corner, but Stuka dodged and Jerry went out of the ring, Stuka connected a ttb plancha, they made it back to the ring, Jerry was throw out again and Stuka hit an over the top somersault plancha, after some time, Jerry went back to the ring and sent Stuka from the apron to the floor, and this time it was him the one doing a (near corner post I think) tope suicida, finally, Stuka hit a second rope moonsault twisted into a somersault plancha and they both were counted out. After the match, they handed a mic to Jerry who said that he loved Torreon (a little geographic note: Jerry is from Monclova, Coahuila, a few hundred miles up north from Torreon, actaully, he is sometimes being reported as hailing from here, b/c he (and Parka with another gimmick, I think) started working over here) and Coahuila, and asked for a hair match for next week, then thought about it and said that in 2 weeks... Stuka accepted.
*** Street fight: Chacho Herodes vs Valente Fernandez-- The staff put some street fight supply on the ring, but they started brawling on the ringside area, the thing I remember the most, and that made go LMAO is that a trio of 5 or 6 year olders kept all the match encouraging Valente yelling 'use the bottle, the bottle! THE BOTTLE!!!!' Besides that, there was some blood, Valente used at least a dozen of superkicks, there was a lot of heat, lots of foreing object used (but when used, they hit the mat or floor 95%, the luchador 5%), Herodes handcuffed Valente, so he was having the upper hand, then Jerry got to ringside (Herodes is also from Monclova, but I think they bill him as being from Houston), and handed him a bottle, so he smashed it on Fernandez forehead!! Valente went KO, and Herodes DQ on a street fight no DQ match??? Well yes... Good hea, and a great way to have Jerry as the main bad guy...
*** Masks vs Masks: Tinieblas with Alushe vs Medico Asesino with Enfermerito-- Medico Asesino jr came out and was billed as Torreon native, so he got a huge pop, while Tinieblas got the biggest boo I can remember of and kind of foreshadowed him losing the hood and revealing that he is AlfonsoMorales after all... NOT!! Medico was said to be from Torreon, but neither guy got any pop at all, if it wasn't for Alushe, I don't think Tinieblas could land a job (I think that only Killer/Miss Janeth comes close as a similar example). 1.- Surprisingly, they start with a lengthy and good matwork, sort of weird since in these matches, they have to show blood since n the first moments. Medico Asesino jr started doing corner splashes and clotheslines then, taking the fall via a lion tamer like crab. Next, Medico catched Alushe and did a skyhigh bodyslam on him so Enfermerito could pin him. 2.- They went on using restholds, with Tinieblas getting an advantage, but Enfermerito used some (plastic, I guess) brass knuckles on Tinieblas, who didn't sell too well, they got into the Alushe's planchas segment and Tinieblas pinned Medico, while Alushe did his own STF version on Enfermerito. 3.- Enfermerito kept using the brass knuckles, then Medico Asesino jr used them as well, he got one near fall, more Alushe spots, Tinieblas uses a sunset flip to get the 3 count and Medico's and Enfermerito's mask, Medico Asesino jr said to be names Antonio Montana Gonzales. This was not done very good, it seem they didn't get into the near fall secuences because of the lack of heat... only the stuff from Alushe got huge pops. I think that they failed at using the Brass Knuckles, mainly from Tinieblas no selling, they should have used the chloroform stuff, or should have set the brass knuckles story line since the previous show.
