AAA-
*** Cholos vs Payasos.- Cholos is the new rudo team (or stable) to come to fight everyone else (like Vipers or Batos Locos), they battled the 'cadetes del espacio' a while ago, and then disapeared.
1.- The Cholos are triple teaming on everyone, using Hermanos Dinamitas tactics, they take some Vatos Locos inspiration with a couple of attacks and one of the Cholos even does a second turnbuckle moonsault which was not that bad, but overall, it was a 2 minute squash.2.- More brawling, to fit the theme, the Cholos start using a portable tape recorder to beat the Payasos for some time. Later, the good guys made the comeback, Payasos start using their normal comedy sposts and take the fall. 3.- The tecnicos control at the beginning of this fall, all 8 guys end on the ring at the same time, to do some quadruple spots, at the end, 3 of the Payasos deck 3 Cholos with topes suicidas, so it is Coco Negro and Cholo I (I guess) the guys to have to resolve the match, Cholo takes Payaso Coco Negro's mask, so it's a DQ.
*** Gladiador Gutierrez, Tigre Silva, Box Thai and Kick Boxer vs Parka jr, Hijo del Perro, Heavy Metal and Mascara Sagrada jr.- Revenge match from the Rey de Reyes event, but this time, it was held on the kickboxer's regular local (I think it was a dance hall or a bar room, something like that), also a cage match: The same thing as in the previous cage matches goes on here, chaotic brawling, they didn't show every how everyone escaped from the cage (or at least there were some guys I didn't saw leaving), but at the end, it was Heavy Metal vs Kick Boxer left inside the cage, after a while, both of them 'got KOED', the referee counted to 10, no one responded, so a draw was declared.
*** Heavy Metal and Oscar Sevilla vs Abismo Negro and Apache.- Weird booking, this looks more like a non-tv taping match, something a small arena will have (Oscar Sevilla headlines in smaller arenas), or maybe the match was changed at last moment because someone was missing.
1.- Rudo bashing, actually, they are beating Sevilla pretty badly and THEN, Heavy arrives, by that time, Sevilla is already in bad shape so the rudos turn their attention on Metal, long brawl, Sevilla juices, Apache shoves Tirantes, so he gets upset and it is another DQ win for the tecnicos. 2.- Punch, kick, stomps, Sevilla hints a reaction with a faceslam and flying headscissors, on Abismo, but the rudo then reverses a rana into a reverse powerbomb, Heavy helps his partner with missile kicks and a top turnbuckle armdrag, Oscar returns to the action but is held by Tirantes, (Tirantes is the only referee in this match, since it is a regular tag team match.) but Apache hits a clothesline on the referee, Abismo puts Heavy Metal into martinete position, unfortunately, Sevilla reverses into a pin, Tirantes with the fast count... 2-0 for the tecnicos.
***Legion del Terror (Espectro jr, Hijo del Espectro and Cadaver de Ultratumba) vs Sevilla, Alebrije (w/Kuije) and (Not) Mascara Sagrada, billed as 100% AAA!!!
1-2-3.- The thing of note here was that this lasted the three falls (which is becoming unusual), mostly comedy spots from Alebrije and Sevilla (that is, if you find funny the torero gimmick) and brawling from the rudos, as well as attacking Kuije, just to get some cheap heat. The rudo team took the match after Hijo del Espectro faked a foul and Tirantes bought it, he and Tropicasas brawled after that, as usual.
*** Vipers vs Juniors Atomicos for the National Atomicos title.- First time the Juniors Atomicos (Blue Demon Jr, Hijo del Perro, Mascara Sagrada jr and Parka Jr) have a title match on a tv show.
1.- It might be hard to remember, but early on the year, Perrito and Mosco (II) were feuding, they remember that here as they do some matwork to open the fall. The tecnicos are on the better end of the matworking time, and the fall comes to an end after Parka Jr and Blue Demon jr perform frankensteiners on Hysteria and Maniaco, so Mascara Sagrada jr can hit top turnbuckle plancha on both to win this fall.
2.- I think that most of the fall was cut away by the editors, they only had a couple of minutes worth of Vipers patented team work. 3.- Vipers kept the command of the match on the early portion of the tercera caida, they even go away from the 100% thecnical title match tradition by using steel chairs, more of the wonderfull edition, and now the tecnicos are the ones brawling and using the chairs, things settle down somewhat and they get into the ending secuences, at the end, Psicosis fouls Demon jr, Tirantes wants to count but Tropicasas is there to make justice prevail... I don't know if Psicosis might feud with Blue Demon jr next...
CMLL-- From Arena Coliseo and Arena Mexico.
*** Blue Panther, Fuerza Guerrera and Kurrgan vs Mr Niebla and the Head Hunters.-
1-2.- Kurrgan had little trouble dealing with the tecnicos, but could be thrown off the ring a couple of times, in one of those, one of the Hunters hit a fatplancha on both Panther and Fuerza to get the first fall, more of the same in the second fall, Blue Panther even did a tope suicida, weird since Hijo del Santo was nowhere to be seen... Fuerza also came off with a weird through the ropes missile kicks, or something similar, and then the other Hunter did a fat vertical plancha on both, in the ring, Kurrgan throwed Mr Niebla to the floor, earning the DQ.
***Black Warrior, Rey Bucaero and Satanico vs Olimpico, Zorro and Taran Boy.-
1.- The rudos won't let the tecnicos get into the ring, so they jump on them as they are on the access ramp. Bump, tuck, whack, pump! Tecnicos rally back, Zorro and Tarzan Boy pull out some team work, in the mayhem, Rey Bucanero ends on the floor and is nailed by a tope suicida from Olimpico, Zorro and Tarzan made short work of the other rudos and took the first fall.
2.- Rudo bashing, Bucanero punishes Olimpico for some time, then Warrior and Zorro get to work a little, ending with Warrior on the floor and Zorro hitting a tope suicida (or plancha) on him, Satanico is going to follow with a tope of his own????? Nope, Tarzan gets him on missile kicks and then a top turnbuckle plancha to get the pin. Since Satanico is defeated and Black Warrior is out from the tope, Bucanero has nothing else to do but a foul, and the tecnicos get awarded the match.
*** Zumbido, Scorpio jr and Bestia Salvaje vs Negro Casas, Ringo Mendoza and Emilio Charles jr.- I think that Negro Casas wants to be now the only guy using black trunks, since Emilio Charles has been used (from this match on) blue trunks!! Or maybe they're waiting for Perro...
1-2.- Another 2 fall match, the twist here was that the rudos won, Scorpio jr used a powerbomb to pin Negro in the second fall, of course, Bestia Salvaje did some illegal helping, but overall, it was almost a clear pin.
*** Villano III, Apolo Dantes, Universo 2000 and Cien Caras vs Gigante Silva, Atlantis and Super Porky.
