Illinois Learning Standards

Since the topic of problem solving does not fall into one area of academia, I had to choose from all areas. I came up with three Illinois State Goals and Standards in which this curriculum addresses.

Learning Standard 4A: Listen effectively in formal and informal situations. Speak effectively using language appropriate to the situation and audience. (4A.3a, 4.A.3b, 4.A.2a, 4.A.4b)

Learning Standard 4B: Speak effectively using language appropriate to the situation and audience. (4.B.5b, 4.B.5d)

Learning Standard 11a: Know and apply the concepts, principles and processes of scientific inquiry. (11.A.5a, 11.A.4e, 11.A.4c)

Learning Standard 24 A: Demonstrate procedures for communicating in positive ways, resolving differences and preventing conflicts. (24.A.3a, 24.A.4a, 24.A.4b, 24.A.5a)
