Hello and welcome to my page. I am going to defend my favorite musician,Carman, against people who don't realize what Carman has done to help others.
Keep visiting the sites that I have listed down below plus keep praying for Carman as he tours through Mexico, the United States, and other countries that need GOD. I don't often have the time to update my pages but this one does not often need to be updated because the info will always have the same feeling behind it. Now that I am done with this part of the page please read on to the original article that I had written such a long time ago. It has been a many years since I first wrote it in 1997, but all the words are still the same. I could never change what I have said.
As far as I am concerned Carman is the best singer that I have ever heard in the Christian music world. His style and songs have rocked the music world and have gotten a lot of attention. I have about 16 of his albums and I love every single song that he has ever
written. Some more than others, but that's okay.
To all the Carman Bashers out there. Beware!! I don't think that you people realize that because of Carman's ministry a lot of people have been led to
the Lord. It also seems to me that you people out there are spiritually jealous of what God has annointed Carman to do. I was led back to Jesus at
a Carman concert about 10 years ago and I have believed in God ever since. He may not be your typical Christian singer, but you can't have everything
your way. His music is reaching people that wouldn't normally have listened to Christian music. And all because of the fact that it is the right kind
of music to reach the kids on the street that you would put him down for it?
There is something wrong here. To answer a question a critic posed, "Where will Carman be in the next five years?" If the Rapture doesn't come first,
he will still be doing what he has been doing for the last 20 some odd years. Touring the nation and the world, bringing God's word to those that need to
hear it. My question to you is: "What will you be doing?"
If Carman's concerts didn't have free or very cheap tickets(for fire-safety) people like me would never have gone to his concerts. I love his music, but I also love the Newboys' music too. Which one would I go to? Carman, of course, because his tickets don't cost an arm and a leg to get in. All I have to pay for is the gas, give to the free-will offering, and, of course, buy one of his albums.
To sum this up. I thank the Lord God that Carman is out there doing God's work. Reaching people that would not normally be reached without the types of music that he uses.
