Reflective of Multiple Intelligence and a Multicultural Population

The objectives use various learning styles to engage learners on different levels and approaches.

The linguistic, musical, bodily kinesthetic and personal /social intelligence models are clearly addressed within the unit. Students can excel in one area but may need to develop other talents they do not normally rely on. The unit is self-engaging and input from peers and an instructor is encouraged.

The content of the unit lends itself to multicultural education in respect to exploring various origins and different cultures beginnings. In comparing and contrasting various cultural myths, students can find common themes, messages, and lessons that every society/ culture must have. The unit then bridges the past to the present so that the students can begin to connect the academic content of creation "myths" to contemporary myths.
