"Maybe over the wintertime you talk contracts and money, but once you get on the field, it's pride, it's all pride."

My Baseball Commentary

Hello Baseball Fans...I have finally updated my baseball page....Well so far this season things seem to be going alot like I expected. Chipper Jones is proving to everyone why I think he is the best all-round player in baseball! Like I said in the preseason...this would be the year of Chipper Jones!!!!!!

Everyone seems to be surpised by Milwaukee to this for me...Im not! They are for real. And the NL Central has goen from the laughing stock of baseball to probably the best division...I still See STL winning becouse of starting pitching...but look for Chicago or Milwaukee to be the Wild Card

Prospects: So far I have been impressed with: David Ortiz, MIN; Travis Lee, ARZ; Cliff Politte, STL; Kerry Wood, CHC (The next Roger Clemons); and finally ATL starting pitcher Kevin Millwood! The season is young but htese guys look for real

"With those who don't give a damn about baseball, I can only sympathize. I do not resent them. I am even willing to concede that many of them are physically clean, good to their mothers and in favor of world peace. But while the game is on, I can't think of anything to say to them."

Due to the summer 97 crash of Angelfire, I no longer have the links to fellow chatter's homepages on ESPNET Baseball chat. But my good friend on the chat, BravesGirl, has the best known list of links of the chatters around. So if your looking for those sites of fellow espn chatters...go to BravesGirl's Homepage
