I have no further information concerning these two men. Without a doubt, information is available in the National Archives in Washington, D.C. If anyone has any information, please feel free to write me.

Veatch, James C. (WeV2, P361-62)
Enlisted, 8/6/1863. Promoted to 3d assistant engineer, 5/10/1864. Discharged, 10/12/1867. It is believed that he is the same man to have served in the 11th Indiana Infantry.

Veitch, William (???)
Enlisted, 11/18/1861, 3d assistant engineer. Promoted to 2d assistant engineer, 11/6/1863. Discharged, 10/16/1865.
