NEWS FOR SEPTEMBER 2002

GANJATIME 2002
Tommy Burke's production at the House of Blues was a success as Dope, Slitheryn, ADD, and Taxi War Dance all played their hearts out. The Stoned Ranger made an impact as well as he greeted fans throughout the night on stage and off. The show pulled at least 600 people and special thanks goes to all the people who came and Tommy for allowing the Ranger to be there.

NEW CAST OF CHARACTERS
SRTV is evolving at rapid speeds. Firstly the Crazy Street Dyke has come aboard to ask people crazy shit on the streets, plus to go to parties and will do revenge tactics for people who request it. Also the rWo will be making frequent appearances as well. Plus also catch Dann Gire, film critic from the Daily Herald and Madman, DJ at Rebel Radio to do music and movie reviews as well.

THE DOWNERS GROVE MOOSE SITUATION
So all shows that were taking place at the Downers Grove Moose Lodge have been canceled because of internal disputes at the lodge. Apparently, the Strictline has been operating against the Moose bylaws according to the new management. We at the Strictline don't know what the situation is between old and new management nor do we care. We are pissed that we had a nice place to do some all ages shows at a cool place and now it is messed up because a couple of people can't get along so...

THE SEARCH FOR NEW VENUES
The Strictline is looking to do shows at a new place. We need to find a venue for THC3 for sure. There is a good chance that the Strictline may not be booking many shows after that.
