NEWS FOR NOVEMBER 2000

MISSION "SORT OF" ACCOMPLISHED
Mission: Imfilladabowl was a great show. Even though turnout was low, the show still rocked

First Discord took the stage and kicked ass as usual. Followed by Bulkhead as they destroyed the bar. Godsize went third and finished their set with Dave from Discord, and Sean from Bulkhead doing a little sumptin, sumptin with them.

It was overall a fun night and everyone that played got to drink for free. Special thanks to the bands, the bar for the free beer, and anyone who attended.

THC IS FOR YOU, IT IS FOR ME
IT IS GOOD, OH GOLLY OH GEE

These were the words that started off the Halloween Concert on October 27. Once again breaking the 100 mark in attendance, The Strictline pulled out a no holds barred show. After the Ranger made his speech, Cry For Dawn, the last minute fill in for G-Lethal 9, rocked some ass and brought some people from ROUND LAKE. In fact everytime the town was said, people went nuts in the crowd.

Next up was Wht. Wht resemblance to Sevendust was uncanny and the crowd really got into them. Many will remember Wht's singer Mike White as the former bassist of Discord, and his boys came and hung out with him and it was all good.

After Ranger threw a skeleton into the crowd, the south siders Ditchwater were next and before they began the show, they sent an ode out to the Ranger with some Bob Marley and then kicked some shit with their two popular songs "10 to 12" and "IDGAF" They were on fire.

Inflict once again brought out the freakshow. Ranger actually had to throw a freak into the cage because he was "invading his space." Despite some sound problems, once again, the masters of the sick kicked the shit and turned the heads of a lot of people.

Crashpoet who had all painted their faces and decided to go a little crazy was up next. The band pulled a impressive set out with songs from their 7 song CD.

Last but not least it was Clockbox. The crowd actually sung along with most of the songs, and they jammed so hard they blew out the circuits in the wall TWICE. Another first in Strictline history. Ranger thanked all for coming out. Show was done.

The Strictline extends it's thanks to all the bands involved and people who helped to make it a success. Also a special shoutout to Chris and Anita Spero from Blankstare for coming out and taking pictures (will be on site shortly) and also special thanks to Discord, Committed, I Feel Sick, and Blackout for showing their faces. But most of all to all the people who just showed. Thank you. All of you make it worth while.

I WANNA GO PSYCHO
November 5th marked the first day the Strictline and the Ranger brought one of their shows to the infamous Riley's Rock House in good old Aurora. All the bands kicked ass and it was a good show. Special notes. It was Blackout's first run, Godsize once again invited Dave from Discord to take the stage with them for "Pass the Joint." Special thanks to everyone who attended and even more thanks to the two Daves from Vis@40, and Mark, Nick, and Margie from Ballistic for showing up.

A SPECIAL INTERVIEW
For SRTV, TYPE O NEGATIVE will be the next band interviewed. This will be taking place at the House of Blues on November 7th so if you are going to the show, you have a chance to be on tv so get crazy.

COUNTDOWN UNTIL SUSPENSION IS UP
Uhhh...5 months

The Strictline is producing two more shows for the rest of the year before the hit CHRONICFEST III. GANJATIME 2001 LOCATION
Right now the Strictline has Palatine park as a proposed location for this summer superfest. Talk is heavy that Strictline wants to work with HEADNOIZE PRODUCTIONS on this and possibly make this Chuckstock 2. No contact with each party has been made but we shall see what goes on.
