CHRONICFEST III ANNOUNCEMENT
Well the bad news is that Chronicfest III had to be scraped due to one million and one miscommunications and anal retentive people who want to hold grudges and other stuff. The good news is Chronicfest III will be
a special Christmas show with the subtitle "Santa Smokes Dope" and will feature six bands on December 16 in Downers Grove. Keep it here for more details.
SRTV NOTE
For bands who are interested on playing on show, we want to put you on but the next couple shoots are booked. We will start booking bands to play again in mid-August. Thank you for your interest though.
STRICTLINE PRESENTS...ANOTHER SHOW
Although we don't know how well it will go over on SRTV, Smoke Drugs Productions and the Ranger are getting ready to put together another show to air on public access under the Strictline banner. We will keep you posted.
PRAY FOR KEVIN
The co-host of the infamous "Strictline on WHCM" radio show at Harper College, Kevin Lorenc will going in for surgery on July 11. Our prayers are with you and we all hope that your dystonia will be cured. We are very
excited to see you able to walk and hope for the best, and most of all, we want to see you next year on Strictline.
-VIS@40 will be releasing a full length album under Surf Records entitled "Cruelity 2 Humans." It will be out soon. Check out their website for more info. Also keep your eye out as the series of shows
entitled "The Trail to GT2K" will feature them as one of the fab five.
-That fucking Matt Pinfeld needs to go and be replaced by SFR on the show FARMCLUB.COM. Until then make a point to check out Strictline alum
FIVEPOINTEO & The modern day psychopaths known as Inflict. Try to vote for them everyday if possible because
we want to see both bands kick some ass on the show when the Stoned Ranger hosts ofcourse.
-There are rumors of a show taking place by NORTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY in Dekalb,IL. The rumors say that the bands that will be present are DISCORD, VIS@40, and playing for the Strictline for their first time BALLISTIC and CLOCKBOX. Nothing is confirmed yet, but keep it here.
