Truth...or Dare?

B/A fluff fic, PG rating or lower.

"I am SO bored," Buffy whined to Angel. "What do you want to do?"

Buffy and Angel were at Buffy’s, sitting in her room.

"Whatever you want," Angel answered.

"Agh! You are no help at all," she replied. "Oh! I know! We could play truth or dare," she exclaimed, raising her eyebrows.

"No!" he answered bluntly, then relented as he looked at Buffy’s pouting face, "I…fine."

"Ok!" she said, grinning. "Truth or dare?"

"What kind of true and what kind of dare?" he asked, avoiding her question.

"You shouldn’t answer a question with a question, but I’ll be gentle," she said slyly.

"Fine. Um…truth," he said regretfully.

"Ok, hum…Are you an only child if not, how many brothers and or sisters do you have?" she asked cheerfully.

"No, one younger brother, two younger sisters," Angel answered solemnly.

"Oh really? Not a spoiled only child? I wouldn’t have guessed," she said sarcastically. "Ok, your turn, and I say truth."

"Ok. Would you rather have the normal life you had, back before you came to Sunnydale, or would you rather be here?" he inquired.

"Boy, you sure know how to pick the tough ones," she playfully complained. "I would like to be normal, popular even, but looking back on who I was…I like the person I am now. Back then I was a spoiled snob, way too similar to Cordelia, and that isn’t who I want to be anymore, right now I don’t know how to be anything but the slayer. And I don’t know where I’d be without that," Buffy finished.

"Oh, I’m glad you’re not like her, too," Angel replied grinning.

"Yeah, your turn. Truth or dare?" she asked.

"I’ll go with truth, I’m afraid of you," he replied chuckling slightly.

"Ok…oh," she grinned, "How did you wind up with that very unusual tattoo?"

"Well, it’s kind of a tradition in my family," he said, "A long dull story," he added.

"Well, I like long dull stories, so spill," Buffy said aggressively.

"Ok, in the middles ages and such, it was public knowledge that vampires and demons existed, and there were what was known as demon hunters. And it was tradition in hunters’ families that the first hunter in a family tattooed an image of the first demon he slayed with his initial. It was like every family had a picture, and it stood for their last name, and then they tattooed their first initial with it. So anyway, my great-grandfather was a demon hunter and he killed a demon called the Hector, which became the family symbol. So then when I was sixteen my father took me, and said I was old enough to carry on the family name, so all I had to do was have it done, with out saying a word…"

"Ah!" Buffy interrupted, "That hurts!" she said sympathetically.

"Yeah, well, I passed, and then go forward a couple a hundred year and here we are," he finished.

"Oh, cool. I just kinda thought…Well that doesn’t matter so now you get to pick one. I want a dare, a cool one," she added.

"Ok," he said grinning. "Close your eyes and sit up."

"Ok…"she answered. She did as she was told and asked, "what next?"

"Nothing," he answered as he pressed his lips to hers.

"Umm…I like your dares," Buffy said between kisses.
