As you look at my music list you will probably get the idea that I am a lover of
tradtional country music. I hope that you do because that is the case...*L*...You
will not see a lot of the newer artists listed on my "Favorite Artists" list. We
play some of the newer music at the Rose Bowl but my favorite music is western swing
and traditional country music.
Over the years the country music scene has changed a lot and I don't know if the
changes were particularly good. The older artists had longevity and loyal
fans and played the music because they loved it and not because it was only a
"financial success". There are many artists around these days that are there
because they had a lot of financial backing and unfortunately little tallent.
There are the exceptions with the newer artists but unfortunately they are the
exceptions and not the rule....Of course these are my feelings only...*S*...
