I would like and give my endorsement to help Bob Dornan get reelected 2000. During my time in the US Army military from 1981 to 1996 Mr. Bob Dornan had helped me in my situation. I was in an accident that took my team mates life and both of my legs. I was performing a maneuver called the Diamond track with the world renown Parachute Team "The Golden Knights" in Feb 1994 in Yuma, AZ. After my accident the military was going to retired me out because there was no place for a disabled amputee in the military. Mr. Bob Dornan jumped in there and assisted me and several other disabled people in the military to show that they could still perform there duties. After several attempts on the hill Mr. Bob Dornan was successful in using his politics on Disabilities in the military on what they could do and what they could not do, well long story short he came to the conclusion and the people did also and said its not the Disability its the ability. Mr. Bob Dornan went to bat for me and he believed in what I stood for the men that serve our great country supports and defends the Constitution of the United States of America in peace and war time and that's the bottom line. Well, nine months after my accident with Mr. Bob Dornan assistance I became the first double amputee in US History to reenlist back in the US Army and sky dive back into my life long dream. I spent three years after I reenlisted and sense left the military to fulfill my goals and future endeavors. I will be graduating from the University of North Dakota UND Aerospace in May 2000 with a Commercial aviation degree. I am the first ever to receive the ratting as a CFI, CFII, Commercial Flight Instructor and Commercial Flight Instructor Instruments in helicopters in the world and also airplane and sea plane all after my accident. I would like to thank Mr. Bob Dornan for people he has helped in the past and wish him luck.
