Ok, first off, let me tell you that, if you haven't figured it out already, I'm an atheist. I don't care for god, and probably never will, if I have anything to say about it. So here we go, on with a rant about:
To start this, I'd like to simply say religion is a fraud. It is a waste of time that only the depressed masses and misguided fools would follow. Don't agree? Who cares. Religion was originally created for some men to have a reason to rule others. In other words, "God is on my side, follow me." Later, it was used to explain phenomenon. As for now, the only purpose that God would have is to be worshipped and to send you to hell if you don't listen to him (spiteful? I think so).
And what rewards do you really see from worshipping Him? From what I heard, you can ignore him for all your life, and all you have to do is to turn back to him and he will accept you. So why waste my time worrying over whether I'm in his favor now, when I can know I'm not in his favor and know that I can go back and be accepted again? What's the point, I ask you? Unless death sneaks up on me, I'm set.
Also, if I am still good, and I am blastphemous, would I still get sent to hell for one little thing wrong? Or would he see through that and realize I had been a decent person assisting others and let me to heaven? And wouldn't heaven be boring? All you ever would do is sit around and be good. No time to go out late and have serious fun with your buds. But of course this is all assuming he exists in the first place.
Well, just to wrap this up so I can move on to better things, I'm gonna tell you this, God is nothing more than a tool that is used just like everything else, even you. If you have anything to add or retort, just email me. You know how.
