BPA or Business Professionals of America is a nation wide student organization. I've been a member of my school's chapter since my Freshman year. It was about the first thing that my mom basically made me do (try). I ended up liking it and made it to state competitions and then all the way to nationals which was in Mineapolis, Minnesota that year. That really pissed off my older bro since he was a senior and it was his first year going to nationals as well :)

My Sophomore year I was chapter Parlimentarian, not that I knew much Parli-Pro, but oh well. This year I barely made it to nationals. There was this top 10% rule in place, sorta, but they failed to tell us about it, so they let me go to nationals even though I didn't completly qualify under the 10% rule. Nationals was in Anaheim, California. This turned out to be my first trip to Disney Land, California Adventure, and Sea World, so it was fun.

My Junior year I got the position of Region 6 Vice President. So I was partially in charge of running regional competitions. That was hellish, but either way I made it to state and back to nationals again, this year placing in an "actual" competition. Nationals was in Chicago, Illinois, so I got to go see the Sears Tower but not much else of the city. My friend was running for a national office, so his meetings kept my advisor tied up for the most part. Either way it was still fun.

Now its my Senior year. State competitions are coming up here March 13-15. I might already be qualified for nationals though because I just sent in my Torch Award application a few days ago.

Now for those of you who don't know much about BPA some of what I just said might not be very clear. Heres links to BPA's official website and Idaho BPA's site, which might help some.
