Name: Shiri Appleby
Date of Birth: December 7th, 1978
Shiri was born in Los Angeles, California, and grew up with her family Dena(Mom), Jerry(Father), and Evan(Younger Brother) in San Ferrando Valley. She began her acting career at the age of 4 years old, intitally staring in commercials for Cheerios, Taco Bell and M&Ms. Her first ever commercial was for Raison Bran, that never got aired on tv. Whilst a teenager she was temporaily ditched her ideas of Hollywood stardom and focused on getting on a eduaction at Calabasas High, West San Fermamdo Valley. She took part in school leadership, on the school yearbook comittee and was even a cheerleader for a year. In her high school, Shiri was voted for "Most Spirited" student.
After leaving high school, she did begin to attend college, where she started to study English, but soon lost her enthusiasum to study and realized that acting was where her future lay, so she returned to the bright lights of L.A. and began to audition again.
She had made appearances in several major series including "7th Heaven", "Xena: Warrior Princess", adn "ER". She has only made notable appearances in two feature films, the recent "The thirteenth Floor" and the 1990 movie starring the late River Phoniex, "I Love You to Death".
Before beginning the gruelling shooting schedule required to make a show such as Roswell, Shiri and her two friends took a tour of Europe, backpacking through Spain and France.
Getting the part of Liz Parker on the hit WB show ROswell was more than difficult than it would appear for Shiri. A friend of Shiri's happened to know the Exectitive Producer, and passed him her resume and her picture, which led her being given the chance to try out for the challenging role.

A little known fact, Shiri actually auditioned for the roles of Maria, Liz and Isabel on "Roswell" several times till being finally casted as Liz Parker.
She can currently be seen in the video to Bon Jovi's "It's my Life". The band's first song in over 5 years.
