ME!

Well, as I have said my name is Jennie. I'm 18 years old and I live in Liverpool, England. I have a brother and a sister who are pains but I love them loads.

This is my first attempt at a webpage and I thought I would make it about my favourite hobby Irish Dancing. As I have said I have been dancing for about 12 years which is not strictly true. I started when I was 6 and then left when I was 12, but then I began to miss it loads so I started up again when I left school.

So, I've been back now for 2 years but I have only entered one competition (or feis) since. When I was younger, I managed to work my way up to intermediate level for most of my dances but then I left. So now I've had to start again. But they don't have beginners when you get to my age so I have to dance in intermediate. I didnt do too badly at the competition. I got all second and 3rd places. Which I was personally very proud of.

We have classes for 1 and a half hours every Tuesday, which isnt a lot really and it's a laid back atmosphere at my dance class. We're mainly there to have fun and we often do shows at nursing homes and school fetes.

What I really want to do is become a dancing teacher. I am much better at helping out the younger dancers, than dancing myself. So, if anyone has any information about the TCRG then I would be very grateful if you could e-mail it to me (jenbo_r@yahoo.com)

Well, Spetember is here and I have to leave for University to do Computer Science and Maths That means I have to leave my dancing class. I dont want to though! I was thinking about transferring but I dont think I would be good enough to dance at another class. If anyone knows of any good dancing schools in Manchester (that dont mind taking in less than perfect dancers!) then please email me!
