Interview with Mendoz of Veneficum

Originally I was supposed to conduct this interview with Bjornberg, but he quit before I had the chance, so I emailed Mendoz. More of the departure of Bjornberg below. (Why, man, WHY?!)
Miss Sony and Mr. Mendoz tackle issues like, what's Mendoz's favorite beer? Why the fuck am I in Idaho in the first place, not to mention issues such as Who are you? and what are you doing here?

So without further ado......this.

First of all, I would like to give my deepest thanks for you being available to do this, and my condolences about recent events.
Cool...but no need to dwell on the past. It's the future thats important now

Now, to get it all out of the way, I'll start with the bad stuff. How has Bjornberg's departure from Veneficum affected you and the others?
Well, it really hasn't in a bad way, I mean we are adults about it, but I guess he set us back a few to say the least.
I know it was about a week ago, but have you spoken to Bjornberg since the departure?
I sure have. We are gonna do one last show here in our city (chicago) June 17...well hes gonna let me know today if hes gonna still play that is so its still a toss up, and i cant forget the bands, Blood stained dusk,and Blood Coven.
How do you think the March Metal Meltdown affected the band?
Well, it was some what of a good turn out. The only thing I had a problem with was the sound. The sound guy they gave us sucked ass, so we really couldn't offer the audience our true sound. Thats what sucked

That does suck...So I hear you guys will be playing Metalfest. Are you excited?
Well, thats still a toss up too. We just got a new drummer, and we hope he can learn at least 5 songs by then. If he can , I guess we will play, but, yeah excited we will be
Oh that is good news, that you have found a new drummer already. Drummers are so hard to come by.
You aint kidding, especially black metal drummers at that

What kind of music do you listen to that no one would expect you to listen to?
Ha hahaha i couldn't tell you that. I'd have to kill you then he hehe

From the profile on the Veneficum site, I take it you're a beer connoiseur. What's your favorite beer?
Ha hahaha BEER! I'm a Modelo drinker!

How old were you when you first started playing guitar?
i was about 13. its been about 11 years already
Who is your idol when it comes to playing guitar?
i think ,,back then it woul;d defianatly be eddie van halen huh who else there was malmsteen and of course eric clapton
Wow, you're the first person I've interviewed to say that. He is rather underrated.
hell yeah he is reall underratted. i guess when it comes to this style of music we play ,,people are to afraid to tell the truth
