Marissa's Short Story
What started out as a simple note between me and my friend Marissa, turned into a short story on her part.. this was all on the spot.
Me: Hey
Marissa: You know me all too well…you would not have any 5" by 7" flashcards would
you?
Me: 5" by 7" huh?
Marissa: Yeah, Ms. Wrega is way too particular for anyone's good.
Me: Oh yeah…glad I got that class over with… the only memory that stands out from the class was when Jake was looking for a red marker and Ms. Wrega told
him that it was in a box on the heater and then he says "Ah, my plan for world domination is complete."
Marissa: I said…"It's fun not using any volume in my voice…seaturtle…seaturtle again…Alfredo says hi,(he is the italian chef who lives in my art folder, you'll have to meet him sometime. He seems a little rude at first but you just have to get to know him.) SEATURTLE!!
Me: What have you done with Marissa?!
Marissa: My spritzer is only 72% juice…how cheap.
Me: That's like the warning on Three Musketeers bars. "May contain peanuts"…What? They don't know?!
Marissa: It's also exclusively fruit juice sweetened.
Me: Is it from concentrate?
Marissa: *sniff* yes…seaturtle…he's looking for an ocean and his long lost brother Steve. (little does he know that Steve found Perry (the seaturtle)'s sister Hilda and they are staying in Cancun for the summer then they are travelling to Jamaica and when Steve and Hilda are crossing Honduras, Perry's son Mark will blow up the very road the Hildais trying to cross, so Hilda (not wanting to get burned) crosses in Belize instead. Right then Steve and Hilda suddenly sneeze at the same time and being the superstitous seaturtles that they are, realize that they must go to see Ogla the Spanish washerwoman so that they can go to Jamaica and be safe. Little do they know that that
when they get there theye will meet Perry and on sight Steve will will go to Tahiti never to be seen again. Hilda is so overcome with embarrassment
and happiness that she faints. Perry wanted to go to Jamaica anyway so he drags his sister behind him in an African Eel boat that they bought from the funny Arabic speaking people on the corner who "promised" it was authentic. Anyway, Mark met up with his cousin Luke and they decide to live in Japan (they "claimed" they weren't gay). Hilda wakes just as a whale is passing by and faints again at the shock (she still has not woken up to this day but she is alive, her heart is beating). Perry, meanwhile, is getting incredibly tired and falls asleep. He wakes startled to find a seal dragging him, a seal who claims he is not a communist, (even though he speaks in a Russian accent with a barely detectable twinge of chinese). Perry knows that nothing can be done and he will be forced into a socialist environment unless…unless Pierre came to the rescue. Would Pierre be free or would he be too entertained at the moment. (Pierre was internationally known for his talents at raising tents. Note: He hated camping of any sort.) Well anyway Perry pushed the secret alarm button located right behind his left ankle. He twinged a little (the button caused a slight shock if pushed in water).
Pierre was entertaining no one and came to the rescue in his newly equipped, one tiger submarine. Pierre is still the only tiger known to earth who is able to breathe under water. The seal was getting tired or dragging both Perry and Hilda, (Hilda was slightly chunky…Mmm clam chowder). Pierre cut the rope and the seal kept swimming not noticing that hi prize treasure was gone. Pierre dropped them off in Jamaica, not realizing that the Wallaby came back…anyone who knows anything knows that Wallabies are BAD news for seaturtles. But, Wallabies named Alluicious are incredibly bad news for the seaturtles.
Will Alluisious find the seaturtle?
Will the seaturtles need to cal on Pierre's services again?
Will Pierre be entertaining someone?
