The Flying Idiot's Calendar System For the Year 2000:

This is my new calendar system for the new millenium, I figure we could switch the old calendars to this one now, to get accustomed to it.

It's not a crazy idea, it is a flawless calendar, dates are numbered consecutively from 1 to 365. There doesn't need to be any month names, but for your sake, I will use the month January.

New Year's Day, January 1, will remain January 1, and at the "end" of the month, the numbers will keep going, so February 1 will become January 32.

Here are a few more examples, the old date on the left, the new calendar date on the right. (I took one date from each "month" to show examples of how the new calendar would work)

January 26 = January 26
February 28 = January 59
March 19 = January 78
April 3 = January 92
May 7 = January 127
June 12 = January 162
July 19 = January 199
August 11 = January 221
September 9 = January 250
October 31 = January 302
November 18 = January 320
December 25 = January 357

See what I mean, no problems

I know you think I am insane by now, so.... Go ahead, try and disprove me, my friends were saying, "Oh, we'll feel stupid saying 'January 340th'" but you won't feel stupid if everyone else is saying it, and it is shorter to say than today is "September Twenty Seventh, Two Thousand" Instead, you could just say today is "Two Sixty Eight, Two Thousand" how cool is that?!
