Then came our family! These are our kids at their maternal grandparents home, getting a ride on the garden wagon. What a bunch!
Jordan is 12 and is about to start the 7th grade. He likes basketball, soccer, reads like a mad-man (his favorites are Harry Potter and Del Tora Quest), has a huge Pokemon card collection and is a great big brother.
Emily is 10 and will be in the 5th grade and loves to read anything she can get her hands on. She is also a big Harry Potter fan and also likes the Fairy Realm series. She is a very sociable girl and makes friends easily.
Kaili is 8 and is the 3rd grade. She is the cutest little red-head you've ever seen, but then I could be biased. She is a great singer and loves to dance.
Sarah is as blond-haired as Marilyn Monroe and much cuter! She is 6 years old and going into 7th grade. She loves her rollerblades and is very athletic. We call her "Sarah Six-Pac" because of her stomach muscles. She can stand on her head forever!
Joshua is 5 and is a red-head like his mom and sister. Joshua is a great Pokemon fan. Josh is ready and waiting for kindergarten next fall.
Lauren is now 3 years old and is the boss of this house, at least in her own mind. Her best friend is our kitten, Shadow. She likes to watch "Dora, the Explorer," and "Sponge Bob."

This is the psycho-cat, Shadow. She loves to hide in the hallway and attack any unsuspecting character who comes to the door.
We recently had the pleasure of reuniting with Dave's mission president and the president's wife, J. Lynn Shawcroft and Dorothea. We celebrated a 15 year reunion with them and several cherished friends from Dave's mission in Ecuador.
