My Pictures From Around the House

This is the indestructible 1973 Dodge Snowfighter 4x4 that has no power steering, no power brakes (no brakes, really), and still plows the lane without hesitation.

"Sittin' on the dock of the bay"... My brother enjoying a summer evening at the pond.

From our bay window, we got a shot of this deer grazing in the early evening in our front yard. Jonesy was slacking on house patrol again...

These sunflowers were the largest we've had grow in the garden.

This is our uncle mowing the field below the house. We have converted it into a handy driving range, and even have a green (with no grass as of yet...).

Here is a shot of a lone maple tree on the hill above the house, on a cold winter evening.

From the same hill, a beautiful sunset, despite the icy temperature.

This is more like it. A midsummer shot of the tree, looking towards Brockway. The stargazing up here is unreal, and so is the view from up the tree.

A spider made a web here and onto the car one morning as I was going to work. The dew made it visible, and it was impressive. This is looking through the web towards the garden.

One of many spectacular sunsets from the back yard at the house...

And here's another...

A unique perspective of the moon after sunset. The sky was a real interesting color, and with the moon where it was, made for a great shot.

A big paper wasp nest in the field.
