An early morning fog lingers in the river valley.

GOOGA! Our pet snapping turtle for the weekend!

The traditional games of badmitton at the cottage!

One of the three or four ospreys that were fishing the river flew right over us.

Rob and Adam building the 'megaliths'.

Our hike across Hogback ridge revealed some impressive vistas. This is looking up river towards the cottage.

Across the valley lies Ritchie Knob. It will be explored...

A closer look through the trees shows the river below. Rob is down on the left.

It was a long ways down... straight down... to the river!

The river's bend around Hogback, cutting into the base of Ritchie's Knob.

Another look up river at the cliffs and the river's bend.

On the way back from the cliffs, we came across this behemoth of a sycamore tree. It had a circumference of more than 16 feet, and dwarfed all other trees we've seen in the area, let alone PA. Click HERE for the full shot.
